Recap of Krabi | Part 2

When we were back from island hopping, we went to explore Phra Nang Beach for awhile. Getting there was very convenient; instead of turning left to Railay East, we just headed towards the right.

Passed by limestone cave formations and spotted several monkeys running amok.

Finally reached Phra Nang Beach, said to be the best beach in Krabi!

Fine sand and turquoise waters – it was beautiful indeed.

Wanted to climb to the viewpoint, but realised “climb” entailed scrambling up the side of the cliff in slippers (without a harness) and getting all muddy….. so I guess not.

Back at Railay West, we visited Walking Street. It wasn’t much, just a short lane flanked by rows of small shops, bars and eateries. At the end, there was Bobo Thai Massage, but it was closed for the day. We bought some beers and snacks, and decided to sit by the beach to watch the sunset.

The sunset was really gorgeous *.*

To end the day, we had a relaxing massage at Railay East. It’s much cheaper than Bobo Thai Massage anyway, at ~200 baht for an hour of full body massage. Damn shiok.

Day 3

Because our flight was early, we had to wake up at 6am+ for breakfast before leaving. Dreaded leaving – really really really wanted to stay for longer.

Recap of Krabi | Part 1

Finally, the main bulk of my internship is over; only one week left to go. Summer has really flown by. Tomorrow morning I leave for Phuket for another short weekend getaway. I’m pretty stoked!!

Back to the recap. Because I was bogged down by work, there was little time to write about my first visit to Krabi. This post is long overdue – it’s been a month since the trip – but better late than never.
